- The Layers are a unique seven piece funk/soul group. Heavy bass lines mixed with a catchy brass section, intricate guitar licks, strings and soulful female vocals combine to create a powerful and original sound. Formed in south London 3 years ago they have matured into a tight ensemble able to liven any crowd and get people on their feet. The band has brought together an eclectic mix of personalities and influences to create an engaging live performance. Their enjoyment for live music is infectious and it clearly shows.
